This Privacy Policy explains how Ellevated By Design ("Ellevated By Design," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use the Ellevate platform, purchase a Content Kickstart or Editing Membership, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services or completing a purchase, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1.Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

• Account & contact information — your name, email address, phone number, and business or brand name.
• Onboarding & creative information — brand colors, fonts, creative notes, editing preferences, inspiration or reference links, and social media usernames you choose to share.
• Content you submit — video footage, files, and other materials you upload for editing, along with revision requests and approvals.
• Communications — messages you send through the platform and any correspondence with our team.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not collect or store full card numbers on our own systems.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & log data — actions taken in the app, timestamps, and basic technical information such as device type, browser, and IP address.
• Referral & marketing data — referral codes and marketing parameters (such as UTM tags) when you arrive from a link.

Information from third parties

• Billing & subscription data from Stripe (for example, payment status, subscription state, and the last four digits of a card).

2.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and deliver our editing Services, including assigning editors and producing and returning your videos.
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, apply credits, and handle billing.
• Communicate with you about your projects, account, onboarding, and support requests.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the Ellevate platform and our Services.
• Send service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications (you may opt out of marketing at any time).
• Display finished work in our portfolio and marketing where you have granted us that license in our Terms of Service.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3.How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.

Service providers & processors

We use trusted third-party providers to run the Services. Information is shared with them securely through encrypted connections (such as authenticated APIs) only as needed to perform their function:

Our team

Your submitted content and creative direction are accessible to the Ellevated By Design editors and staff assigned to your account so they can perform the Services.

Legal & safety

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or abuse.

Business transfers

If Ellevated By Design is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

4.Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you make a purchase, your payment details are provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's own privacy policy and security standards. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details, but we do not store your full payment card number.

5.Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, and enforce our agreements. Uploaded footage and deliverables may be retained in our storage systems for a reasonable period to support revisions, re-delivery, and record-keeping. You may request deletion as described below.

6.Security

We take reasonable measures designed to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app, our systems, and our providers.
• Authentication and role-based access controls so information is only accessible to authorized team members.
• Storing sensitive credentials and payment processing with reputable, security-focused providers (such as Stripe and Supabase) rather than on our own devices.
• Ongoing monitoring of our systems and integrations.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

7.Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction — you may request a copy of your personal information or ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Deletion — you may request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal and legitimate business retention needs.
• Marketing opt-out — you may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages.
• Portfolio removal — you may request that we stop using your content in future marketing, as described in our Terms of Service.

The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
